Starting from an early age, I have found interest in all things art. From art camps, private groups, to classroom study I have accumulated a variety of projects. This website aims to show a snapshot of some of those pieces.
My artistic style has, unsurprisingly, matured and improved, but the progression has pushed me to where I am today. As an art major at Hamilton College, I gained exposure to a variety of artistic disciplines. This past year, as a senior, I have an incredible studio and the freedom to artistically explore. In May 2017, my thesis work was exhibited at the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art.
At Hamilton, in addition to being an art major, I was an education minor. I was also a defender on the varsity women's lacrosse team, a docent at the Ruth and Elmer Wellin Museum of Art, and a Resident Advisor.
I have recently moved to Boston, where I am coaching lacrosse and continuing to paint. I am in the midst of a college collection, of which I have professionally printed, to sell to the fans of each school. Check it out at ellisonsherrill.com. Feel free to reach out for commissions and orders.
